ODM were asked to return to Sunnybank Primary School to install a new heating system, boiler room and domestic hot and cold water feeding bathrooms and kitchen in the new nursery and teaching block of the primary school.
Using our experience from phase 1, we applied similar principles to Sunnybank’s fantastic new build and kitted it out with a new boiler, heating system and water supply.
We fitted sinks and toilets to the new pipework we installed, working with the builders to ensure the hardware provided fit seamlessly into the kitchen and bathroom units and toilet cubicles. A high quality finish was achieved with all health and safety boxes ticked, ready for the children to use when the new block opens in September.
In addition to the plumbing works, we also installed a new electric heating system throughout the building allowing all rooms to be heated independently according to requirements. This will enable the new building to save on energy and therefore heating bills by only heating the rooms currently being used.
