Commercial Heating for your business premises
A huge part of providing a commercial building for work, education or social care is ensuring it is a pleasant place to spend time. For this, providing a comfortable temperature within the building is key. There are many varieties of commercial heating systems available and selecting the correct one for your particular needs will ensure the comfort of those using the building as well as energy efficiency and cost effectiveness of the system installed. Heating and hot water are the very basics required in a workspace. Our Gas Safe registered commercial heating engineers are on call to assist you to get the best from your commercial and industrial heating.
Different types of commercial heating systems offer different benefits. We currently offer installation, maintenance and servicing on a range of commercial heating solutions.
Navigating all the different commercial heating options can be confusing, so it’s important to speak with a fully qualified commercial heating engineer like those employed here at ODM, to assist you in making the right decision for your commercial property when undertaking a heating installation and ensure you maintain energy efficient heating.
We can provide insight and assist you with the selection and installation of the following commercial heating systems:
A commercial boiler is generally used to heat large properties. Commercial gas boilers are used to heat water which is sent through pipes to radiators placed throughout the building. There are several types of boilers available to commercial properties. ODM can help you select the best one for your business.
Heat Exchanger Systems are often also known as warm air space heating systems. They use a fan to draw air across a heat exchanger and then evenly distribute it throughout the building. This is another good example of a commercial heating system to use when a constant temperature is desirable.
Radiant gas heaters are ideal for large space heating where there is substantial ventilation, or where spot heating of an area might be needed. In large commercial work areas like warehouses, factories, supermarkets factories and even sports centres, radiant gas heaters provide a good solution. The gas in the system is used to heat a tube, plaque or cone which emits infrared radiation. The heat radiation is then directed downwards by reflectors housed in the heating unit into the space.
In addition to heating the environment in which you or your tenants work, we can supply and fit gas fired hot water storage systems to your premises, to ensure a ready supply of hot water is there whenever a tap is turned on. We can provide advice on the best type of hot water storage system for your needs.
Any gas system should be fitted and regularly tested by a qualified gas engineer to ensure the safety of anyone using your commercial or industrial space. Regular inspection and maintenance of plant rooms and gas heating systems is recommended to check your system’s energy efficiency and ensure you are compliant with current gas safety regulations. Our heating engineers work to the highest standards so rest assured, you are in safe hands with ODM.
