Project: Full Workshop Electrical Rewire

The project

This busy art supplies company recently moved into larger premises.  They needed a full rewire of the electrics in their new workshop to better suit their needs.

Our Involvement

To complete the electrical rewire of the workshop, our electrical team installed three phase distribution boards, including sub mains cabling and fused switch disconnectors for the boards.

We added metal containment consisting of trunking, conduit and cable tray.

New, energy efficient LED lighting was installed throughout the workshop, including emergency lighting.  In addition to this, some of the lighting in certain areas contained microwave sensors to help increase energy savings further.

The workshop needed reliable and safe electrical supply for their workshop machinery.  Due to this, we provided single phase and three phase equipment.  The inclusion of three phase energy supply improved the energy reduction when using heavy machinery.

The electrical team worked with Artist Surfaces to optimise the space available and ensured safe access to electrical output wherever needed.  The new lighting floods the work area with bright but energy efficient light, reducing business overheads.

Artist Surfaces Director, Joe Atkinson says:

Here at Artist Surfaces we are incredibly pleased with the installation of our
complete rewire from ODM.
The attention to detail and consideration of practicality is of the highest workmanship.

Their communication and desire to follow through to our specification is fantastic.
