Kent Smart Repairs have recently moved into a new workshop that required a lot of renovation work. ODM’s electrical team were on hand to assist.
The property had no office space or mess room, which was essential for the business to operate. To resolve this problem, two shipping containers were converted into an office and breakout area. ODM carried out electrical works for each container, adding a distribution board to both.
Once the conversions were completed the containers were put into position on site. Our electrical team then installed individual distribution circuits for each container, which are fed from the main workshop’s distribution board. This enabled electrical equipment to be safely used within the new container spaces.
In addition to the container conversion work, we carried out extensive work in the new workshop. We replaced the existing three phase distribution board with a new one and installed a new sub mains supply and distribution board at the rear of the workshop. This provided power for a new professional spray booth and workshop air compressor. More new three phase supplies were installed for the car ramps and welder. New large LED floodlights were fitted to the front of the workshop to illuminate the yard at night.
Finally, we installed an intruder alarm system to protect the premises and the customer vehicles stored there during repairs.
ODM Services have completed a number of electrical jobs for our new business premises. This includes a new alarm system, new lighting and new electricity supplies through our repair shop. ODM are a reliable company and have completed the work at the highest of standards.
