Project: Kloeckner Metals, Thurrock
The expansion and refurbishment of a commercial unit in Thurrock for a renowned metal stockholder and processing supplier Kloeckner Metals, consisting of 6 office units, 6 toilet rooms and two kitchens.
ODM were tasked with the mechanical installation of a new cold water tank and booster pumps, along with water heaters, plus 2 new tea points, 2 mens toilet and shower rooms and 2 womens toilets and shower rooms at the newly refurbished unit in Thurrock, Essex
Our team worked swiftly to run a new cold water supply from incoming mains to the new booster tank location and supply and fit a twin pump 1000L booster tank with electromagnetic water conditioner.
The new water supply pipework was then extended to the new toilet rooms and kitchens, where 8 x unvented water heaters were supplied and fitted to provide hot water. TMVs were fitted to all the hot water outlets. New above ground drainage was also installed for the site.
Sanitary ware and kitchen sink units were fitted and connected to the water supply we had already installed.
Once completed, we carried out a disinfection of the mains pipework to the tank of around 30m, 1000L cold water tank, the booster set and boosted pipework feeding the building, office units and facilities in accordance with BS8558, L8 ACOP, HSG274, BSEN806 and PD855468:2015 and a full certificate was issued.
