We recently made the decision to remove “Plumbing and Heating” from the company name and can announce we are now officially known as ODM Services Limited.
“ODM Services” has of course been used by us for many years already, but with our recent expansion into electrical, security and further commercial services, we felt ODM Plumbing & Heating no longer effectively communicated the whole range of services we provide. It’s felt that ODM Services more closely encapsulates what the company has to offer and represents our brand and clientele more effectively. The change is marked with a new logo too which we plan to introduce going forward on all our marketing and communications – we hope you like it!
The newly changed company name also recognises a shift in the direction the company is taking. Over the last few years our main client base has shifted from domestic work to more commercial sector projects and a greater emphasis on mechanical services. The majority of our work is now carried out for companies with large property portfolios and much of the domestic work we carry out, such as gas safety checks and boiler servicing, is for these clients.
The larger portion of our work is now mechanical – design and installation of larger water supply and heating systems for non-domestic facilities. The expansion into electrical services allows us to offer our clients a more fully rounded service, without the need to subcontract out electrical requirements. This in turn enables us to guarantee the high quality of service and workmanship that our clients have come to expect from ODM.
