Job description
ODM is a Kent based mechanical and electrical company. We are looking for a commercial gas engineer to carry out PPM’s, servicing and breakdowns on commercial boilers with the potential to grow within the company.
Job responsibilities
- Commercial boiler servicing and repairs
- Commercial gas installation and repairs
- CP17 certificates
- Reactive maintenance work
- Reporting of jobs on job management system
Essential to the role
- Hold current commercial gas ACS qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience on the job knowledge
- Boiler breakdown and servicing experience
- Able to cover out of hours call outs on 1 in 6 rota
- Good understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Own tools and UK driving licence
- Good standard of work and attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, strong communicator and the ability to work on own initiative
- Domestic knowledge (Preferred, not required)

Job responsibilities
- Leak investigation and repairs
- Plumbing installations
- Isolations and drain downs within blocks/boiler rooms
- Radiator repairs and replacements
- Waste pipework repairs and replacements
- Reporting of jobs on job management system
Essential to the role
- Hold minimum NVQ level 2 in plumbing
- At least 8 years’ experience on the job knowledge
- Good understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Own tools and UK driving licence
- Good standard of work and attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, strong communicator and the ability to work on own initiative

ODM is a Kent based building services company. We are seeking a detailed Mechanical Estimator to carry out all types of pricing and tender submissions. This role has a great opportunity for the right person to excel within a growing company.
Job responsibilities
- Analyse Drawings, Specifications and Employer Requirements
- Prepare accurate Take-offs, Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimates
- Source, analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor prices
- Take ownership and submit all prices/tenders
- Work closely with contract managers and director
- Attend necessary meetings and support negotiations
- Ensure a smooth project handover to operations
Essential to the role
- Strong understanding of the building services industry
- Mechanical estimation/pricing experience
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under pressure
- Excellent commercial awareness, numeracy and negotiation skills
- Good team player and able to get along well with people
- Reliable, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, strong communicator and the ability to work on own initiative
