What is the difference between Air Source and Ground Source heat pumps?

Air Source takes heat from the air. It is cheaper and easier to install but slightly less efficient on very cold days. Ground Source takes heat from the ground via pipes buried in the garden or boreholes. It is more expensive to install but offers higher efficiency and lower running costs year-round because ground temperature is constant.

Do I need planning permission for commercial Solar Panels?

In many cases, rooftop solar panels fall under “Permitted Development” rights, meaning full planning permission isn’t required. However, there are exceptions (e.g., listed buildings or flat roofs where panels protrude significantly). We can assist with checking compliance before work begins.

Can you install EV chargers that bill our employees for usage?

Yes. We can install “smart” commercial EV chargers. These can be set up with back-office software that allows you to offer free charging for company fleet vehicles while allowing staff or visitors to pay for their charging session via an app or RFID card.
