Frequently Asked Questions

Blockage clearance is a reactive service—we come out when a drain is backed up to clear it. Stack descaling is a preventative maintenance task. Over time, cast iron and plastic pipes narrow due to scale and rust; we use mechanical tools to grind this away, restoring the pipe’s full diameter and preventing future blockages.

Not always. We use CCTV surveys to locate the damage. If the pipe is accessible, we can often use “no-dig” technology, such as drain lining (inserting a resin sleeve that hardens inside the pipe) or patch repairs, to fix cracks and structural defects without expensive excavation.

Generally, you are responsible for the drains within your property boundary up to the point where they join the public sewer or a shared drain. For commercial sites, this usually means the vast majority of your site’s drainage infrastructure is your responsibility to maintain.
