What is the difference between a Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer?

A commercial gas engineer is qualified to work on appliances with a heat input of over 70kW and pipework larger than 35mm. This includes large plant room boilers, overhead radiant heaters, and industrial pipework. A domestic engineer is qualified for standard home boilers and cookers. ODM Services employs engineers qualified in both.

Do you handle LPG and Oil for off-grid properties?

Yes. We are specialists in “off-grid” heating. We install and maintain LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) systems and Oil-fired boilers for rural homes, farms, and businesses that do not have access to the mains gas network.

How often do I need a Commercial Gas Safety Certificate?

By law, under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, all commercial gas appliances and pipework must be inspected annually by a qualified engineer. We provide the necessary CP42 (Commercial Catering) or CP15/CP16 (Commercial Boiler/Testing) certificates to keep you compliant.
