Most commercial insurance policies require a valid EICR to be in place.

What is the difference between Cat A and Cat B electrical fit-outs?

A Cat A fit-out covers the basic electrical infrastructure of a building (shell and core), such as main distribution boards and general lighting grids. A Cat B fit-out is the “finishing touch” tailored to the specific tenant, involving the installation of power sockets, data points, meeting room AV, and feature lighting to suit your specific office layout.
