Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Almost all modern commercial AC units are “heat pumps.” This means they can reverse their cycle to provide highly efficient heating in winter as well as cooling in summer. This is often more cost-effective than running a traditional gas boiler system.
F-Gas regulations control the use of refrigerants that contribute to global warming. As an operator of AC equipment, you are legally required to have regular leak checks performed by certified engineers (like ours) to prevent gas escaping into the atmosphere. We manage this schedule for you.
For a single room or small shop, a “Split” system is ideal. However, for a large building with multiple rooms, a VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system is superior. It allows one outdoor unit to run many indoor units, and can even heat one room while cooling another simultaneously (heat recovery), making it extremely efficient.
